yesterday, teh gao and i were going through
his photo album
he pointed out some people
told me some stories
and there were some bursts of laughter
at silly moments



some place in time we never shared
some people we never knew
we walked our paths
for some reason meet
to share a time no one else would

a teardrop roll down your eye

sip on a cappucino
and miss the sense of euphoria
watch a baby laugh
and fake a smile to be polite
hear a joke told
and didn't understand it
see a star twinkle bright
pass a glance and walk on by
