there are indeed combinations of things
that lie on the same indifference curve
and when that is met by our budget constraints
we achieve sort of an optimum point
i would say that perhaps a combination of things make me happy
one starbucks cappuccino + a kiss from teh gao
(holding other things constant)
would help me achieve my optimum
however, indifference curves do shift outwards (away from the origin)
and at higher indifference curves, there is a higher satisfaction
and of course say my budget constraint allows 2 cappuccinos + 1 kiss
it'll help me achieve the optimum there
but where is the blisspoint for happiness?
where is the ultimate ultimate optimum?
there isnt one is there?
so supposing i think i am better off with 2 cappuccinos
but at 2 cappucinos,i'd prob be better off with 3 if i had the money
and there is no end as long as i can afford it
what is my constraint as far as happiness is concerned?
black russian,what is yours?
if ure happy now why try to move to a higher indifference curve
keep in mind that ure holding things constant
if u take the things u hold constant into account,
u might just move down while trying to move up
backfire they call it
think again.
before u move.

hehe.. miss you! [sung]
hey sung!i miss u loads.and happiness infinity is good and bad- means no end to happiness but possibly unreachable too.oh well.stay happy for me ok?
i always do :) stay postive too. [dung]
you wrote it in a language that i have difficulty understanding..i will have to read it again and think of my response..
i am not about to move, but what if the answer to "if ure happy now" is ... ... not, but just plainly ok ... ...?
are u happy with plain?
